GEOFF'S SOUTHDOWNHILLER 2001

Geoff's Southdownhiller 2001 was the 11th annual cycling weekend organised by Geoff Smith. Approximately 40 cyclists took joined the weekend, which was held at the Southdowns Country Hotel, Trotton, West Sussex. The hotel was very good, and included a swimming pool, which many of us took advantage of.

As well as Geoff, credit is due to Phil Gasson, who planned the routes - via Bosham on Saturday and via Petworth on Sunday. Jessica Gasson, who is Phil's wife and secretary typed up the route notes, and Stella made a beautifully iced and delicious cake to celebrate the weekend.
