Prague to Budapest Bike tour, August 2002

This Bike Tour took place from 3rd to 16th August 2002, and took our party of about 50 cyclists through the Czech Republic, Slovakia and into Hungary. The weather included heavy rain at times, which caused gravel and even bricks from tracks to be washed onto the roads which we had to ride through. A few days after cycling from Prague, we heard that it was suffering from serious flooding. Not all days were wet, I even had to put on sunscreen cream a couple of times!

It was a very enjoyable holiday, and good to see some old friends again as well as make some new ones. Many thanks to the staff of Bike Tours who were with us, including David, Mario, Richard and Joanna for making the holiday go so well.
